"Beyond Words": Creative Expression Workshop

I'm

90-minute guided workshop that combines mindfulness and creative expression to help you explore what sits just beneath awareness. Through a gentle prompt and open-ended creative time participants will use writing, drawing, scribbling, collage or movement, or any form of creative expression that feels natural to the individual. You’re invited to connect with your inner experience in a way that doesn’t require words or perfection, just presence. No "art skills" required!

To sign up for the group, please familiarize yourself with the group/workshop policies below and hit the "Join Us" button

Group & Workshop Policies

Registration & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of registration in order to reserve your place in a group or workshop.

For online groups offered through Zoom, participants will receive an email prior to the workshop containing the Zoom invitation and any accompanying materials (PDF or Word documents, when applicable). Some workshops may not include supplemental materials.

For in-person groups, materials will be provided at the beginning of class when applicable.

Attendance, Cancellations & Refunds

Because group space is limited and preparation occurs in advance, no make-up sessions or replay recordings will be offered.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled workshop date are eligible for a 50% refund upon request. If no request is made within 3 days of the end of group, no refund will be issued. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop, as well as missed workshops/no-shows, are non-refundable.

All sales become final at midnight on the day prior to the workshop date.

Registration Deadlines

Registration and payment for workshops must be completed no later than 72 hours prior to the start of the group or workshop. Registration will close automatically at that time.

Example: If a workshop takes place on Saturday, registration and payment must be completed by midnight on Tuesday.

Group & Workshop Packages

Package Use & Expiration

Workshop or group packages are intended for use only with the specific group or series for which they were purchased and may not be transferred to future groups or workshops.

If you miss a session within a multi-session package, you may still attend the remaining sessions. Please contact me directly if arrangements or clarification are needed. (bluebuddhacounseling@gmail.com)

If purchasing a workshop or package for another individual, all policies remain applicable.

Package Refund Policy

Once a workshop series or group package has begun, purchases become non-refundable. Refunds or credits are not issued for missed sessions within a package.

Group Materials & Intellectual Property

Supplementary materials and workbooks are designed to support and deepen the workshop experience. While some workshops may allow participation without materials, they are strongly recommended when provided. Your ability to complete the homework that supports your experience may depend on having the group materials.

All workshop materials remain the intellectual property of Blue Buddha Counseling and are intended for personal use only. Materials may not be copied, distributed, shared, reproduced, sold, or used for profit in any form without written permission by myself.

Recording of groups, workshops, or Zoom sessions is not permitted.

Participation & Emotional Safety

Participation in discussion and creative exercises is always voluntary. Individuals are encouraged to engage at their own comfort level throughout the workshop experience. There is no expectation to share personal artwork, writing, or reflections unless you choose to do so.

Group Respect & Confidentiality

Workshops are intended to provide a respectful and emotionally supportive environment for all participants. Individuals are asked to honor the privacy and experiences of others by keeping personal stories and identifying information shared within the group confidential.

Technology Requirements for Online Workshops

Participants attending online workshops are responsible for ensuring they have access to a stable internet connection and a device capable of accessing Zoom prior to the beginning of the workshop.

Nature of Workshops & Clinical Disclaimer

Groups and workshops offered through Blue Buddha Counseling are reflective, educational, and experiential in nature and are not intended to provide crisis services, emergency mental health care, or individualized therapeutic treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact 911, your local crisis line, or proceed to the nearest emergency room.

Personal Responsibility & Emotional Awareness

Participation in groups and workshops is voluntary and may involve emotional reflection or the exploration of personal experiences. Individuals are responsible for monitoring their own emotional well-being during and after participation and are encouraged to engage in self-care and seek additional support when needed.

By participating in a group or workshop, individuals acknowledge personal responsibility for their own emotional responses, choices, interpretations, and experiences arising from participation.
